Our trainers are our owners at FULL STRENGTH in Minnetonka; this ensures that you get the best possible experience.
“It’s not what you do but how you do it that matters.” That is the motto that has stuck with Jayme Pantekoek after more than 10 years in the strength and conditioning field. It means that while many strength programs use similar exercises such as squats and bench, Jayme takes his program to the next level by honing in on the science behind speed and explosivity.
This special recipe is what Jayme brings to FULL STRENGTH. Throughout his career, Jayme has witnessed all levels of athletes – from Squirts to NHL veterans – achieve success under his training method.
Jayme has also had the privilege to work and learn from some of the most knowledgeable and well-respected people in the strength and conditioning field, including Cal Dietz, the head strength and conditioning coach at the University of Minnesota, and Chuck Lobe, the former Tampa Bay Lightning head strength coach.
Jayme takes pride in teaching and helping the athletes he work with become the best that they can be, whether they are new to the weight room or a seasoned veteran. A division one athlete himself, Jayme knows what it takes to help athletes reach their full potential.
For the past two years, Jayme was appointed as the Minnesota Elite League’s strength coach and was responsible for reporting strength and speed statistics to the central scouting agency. Jayme has also coached over 50 NHL players and hundreds of collegiate hockey players throughout his career.
Jayme’s own personal accreditations start with a undergrad degree in Kinesiology, a double masters in Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Physiology, and certifications at the National Academy of Speed and Explosion, NAFC Nutrition Certification, and CrossFit Certified.

Eric Johnson (EJ)
EJ is Founder/Lead Instructor at Impact Hockey and part owner of Full Strength. Although EJ’s role at Impact Hockey will remain the same, his involvement at Full Strength will include referring hockey players who are motivated to bring their strength and speed to a new level. EJ understands the important role that strength training can play in a hockey player’s career. “In high school my weight room coach ,Mr. McFarlane, taught me how to lift properly. I followed his program and my skating improved a lot. In college the speed of play was incredible. I started my Freshman year at SCSU as a slow fourth-liner and ended my career as a serviceable first-liner. Time and space is the key in hockey. The weight room was the #1 factor in my improvement.”
